In addition to his professional musician career, Silvan Zingg has been producing his own “International Boogie Woogie Festival” in Lugano since 2002 and the “Piano Jazz auf zwei Flügeln” festival in Basel since 2010. Furthermore he has already produced 14 CDs over the years. Evergreens as well as his own compositions can be found on the CDs, as well as at his concerts.
He presents his lecture “The World of Boogie Woogie and Blues Piano” in four languages at colleges, universities and festivals.
It is his mission, to pass his music, as well as its history and its background on to the people, students and children. Of course with the instrument of his choice: the SHIGERU KAWAI grand piano. “I am very happy and proud to be the artist ambassador for KAWAI.
